Season 2 of the Fox mega musical comedy hit “Glee” has had more contemporary tracks being sung in the show, from Bruno Mars, to Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Paramore and Justin Bieber in an upcoming episode, it’s clear that the show has used less show tunes this season compared to its debut year, and whether the direction to go more mainstream was intentional for the current season or not, “Gleeks” are not one bit disappointed.

For its upcoming episodes, the show will be tapping on more up-to-date songs from artists that you don’t need to dig deep through the vault just to be familiar with. Expect Ke$ha’s breakout debut single “Tik Tok” to make its way to McKinley High while show creators are still figuring out which songs from Taylor Swift’s massively successful discography are they going to spin.
