With all the “Glee” spoilers being leaked at the recent PaleyFest event, you probably won’t need to bother with tuning into the third season to find out what happens. However as we all know Gleeks, that isn’t going to stop you from watching each minute breathlessly and buying their next five soundtracks at least three times.

It seems there are more sex education lessons that need teaching still. At PaleyFest, “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy announced that Gwyneth Paltrow, semi-permanent guest star who is currently in the midst of her second “Glee” run, will return to do another run of guest spots during the third season of the show.

When it comes to the music charts and TV, “Glee” has been a gigantic hit. That’s no secret. The show has been one of the top ranked Fox shows on a consistent basis. Their songs also do well usually on the top 10 at Apple’s iTunes. However the show’s songs until now have been exclusively covers- of artists like the Beatles, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. However this week, “Glee” producers decided to release three of their own songs.

Matthew Morrison, the “Glee” actor, songwriter and Broadway star, will be adding another role onto his resume soon: director. During a recent TV industry event, Morrison said he was hoping to take the role of director on “Glee,” and during the third season definitely.

In the most recent episode of ‘Glee’ entitled “Sexy”, the characters learn the basics of sex education, most especially from McKinley High’s resident sub teacher Holly Holiday, portrayed by Gwyneth Paltrow. Now the show is under fire due to a scene depicting Paltrow’s character singing and dancing to the tune of “Do You Want to Touch Me?”, originally popularized by Gary Glitter in 1973, as it triggered heavy criticism from Kidscape, a children’s charity group.

After more than a year of singing covers, Matthew Morrison, better known to ‘Glee’ fans as Will Schuester, finally gets to sing a tune of his own with his all-original debut self-titled album out in stores on May 10. The album features the lead track “Summer Rain”, which was first played in Ryan Seacrest’s show at KIIS-FM today, along with a guest stint from Morrison himself. “I hope people dig it, and if they don’t, they don’t,” the singer said before the song’s first note played on air.

“Glee” takes on a different direction on an upcoming episode when they tread the waters at Regionals with original tracks, with one penned by pop songwriting legend Max Martin. Martin, responsible for other pop hits like “Raise Your Glass” by Pink (which will also be sung in the same episode) and “My Life Would Suck without You” by Kelly Clarkson (which was sung during the show’s first season), co-wrote the upbeat and poppy “Loser Like Me”, a group track which sums up the show’s overall theme.
