Who will appear in the second season of “Glee?” Ryan Murphy, the show’s creator, is the only one who knows for sure.
He revealed that Julia Roberts wouldn’t be doing a show.
After laying one rumor to rest, he fanned the flames from another.
Murphy said, Javier Bardem says he wants to play a rock-n-roll Spanish man. He is the best, so if we can get that to work we would probably do that early in the season.
Before a representative from 20th Century Fox reportedly denied it, the potential appearance of Javier’s was reported for the first time last week.
As for the stars who appear on the show already, Murphy also cleared up a few cast hook up rumors and seting a policy of no on-set shenanigans.
He said, I was misquoted. It was completely blown out of proportion. I was joking around about how there a rule of no action inside the trailer. The reporter apparently thought I was being serious.
Murphy says the stars have priorities that are much higher in mind.
Murphy joked, they are counting their lines and way too busy trying to figure out who is prominently featured during an episode. They don’t have time to care about sex.
On Thursday, “Glee” received 19 Emmy nominations their debut season. It was the most nominations any television series received this year. Given that, it would appear that there is a lot of pressure riding on Seasons 2 and 3. However Glee’s creator is remaining calm.
Murphy said, we created this show inside a vacuum. We will continue doing that.
