Are you tired of dancing alone? “Glee” has returned, so now you won’t have to.
The New Directions choir from McKinley High smashes their competition during sectionals by hitting all the right notes and hits the road for regionals as “Glee” returns on Tuesday. It couldn’t come any sooner. The suspense is killing us about so many things.
Who is Rachel snuggled up with inside the practice room? Are Emma and Will going to be locking lips once again? Is Jesse St. James’ potential new love interest (a Vocal Adrenaline competitor) for real? If Finn and Rachel end up breaking up will he make threats to leave? Are they together really?
What we do know is that the episode on Tuesday will see the Gleeks hard at work on some new songs, including their rendition of “Hello, Goodbye” from the Beatles.
Guest stars on the show will include the Broadway star Idina Menzel from “Wicked” along with Jonathan Groff, Lea Michele’s co-star in “Spring Awakening.” Mr. Schuester (played by Matthew Morrison), has a visit with Vocal Adrenaline’s coach (Menzel) to find out if Jesse is concerned more with winning than winning the heart of Rachel. Sue Sylvester (played by Jane Lynch) has returned from Boca. She has a new plan for destroying the Glee Clubbers and Mr. Schuester.
Later in the “Glee” season will be versions of “Poker Face” from Lady Gaga, a Madonna tribute with “Bad Romance” on April 20, and Olivia Newton-John and Kristin Chenoweth from Broken Arrow singing on May 4 with Jane Lynch.
