Pop star Charice will finally be returning to “Glee” after what seemed like a one-time big-time gig. She will be reprising her role as Filipino exchange student Sunshine Corazon, who at the end of the season 2 premiere, transferred to the Glee club’s arch rival, Vocal Adrenaline. The “Pyramid” singer will be appearing for four more episodes this season, but no word on how her role will affect the New Directions Glee club or Rachel Berry’s (Lea Michele) musical career.

“I am so blessed to be coming back…Ryan Murphy and I have been talking, and it’s finally happening,” Charice shares with PopEater. The singer was present during the annual Woman’s Day Red Dress Awards in NYC. She also added that she has been vocal to Murphy about performing another Beyonce hit for her return, either “Crazy in Love” or “If I Were a Boy”. Back in the season premiere, she sang “Listen” as her audition piece for the Glee club.

Prior to Charice’s “Glee” stint, she made news after she underwent a chair side Botox procedure specifically aimed for her debut in the Fox series, so she could “look fresh on camera”.

“All people will be anticipating how will Charice look? Is she good enough to pit against Rachel Berry? So of course there is tremendous pressure,” the 18-year old commented back in July at the peak of the controversy. She also added that the news about her procedure “was blown out of proportion” and that she doesn’t regret going through it.
