First Lady Gaga and Madonna went to “Glee.” It’s Britney Spears turn now.

A FOX rep confirmed that Spear’s music is going to be featured on an early episode during the second season of “Glee.” Last week the FOX series received 19 Emmy nominations.

Ryan Murphy, Glee series creator, also addressed some of the upcoming season casting rumors. He said that Julia Roberts wouldn’t be doing a show, to debunk one rumor before he fanned another’s flames.

Murphy said, Javier Bardem would like to play a rock-n-roll Spanish guy. If we can get that to work, he is the best out there. We would probably do that during the season’s first half.

The potential appearance of Javier on “Glee” was reported first earlier this month, prior to being denied apparently by a rep from 20th Century Fox.
