The stars from “Glee” will be making an appearance on “Oprah” and also visit the White House soon. Until then fans can view them on the new cover of the Rolling Stone.
The stars from “television’s hottest show,” according to the Rolling Stone, were wild on the outside cover while being serious on the inside with their candid interviews. Although the cast, particularly Lea Michele, may appear to have been caught off guard, once the questions started to roll they were all fully prepared for providing direct answers.
Lea Michele, who plays Rachel, started the racy conversation off by talking about her tattoos. Then Cory Monteith, who plays Finn, continued the controversy as he talked about his arrests from childhood (yes he’s had multiple arrests). However Finn fans need not fear. Cory explains that the minor episodes haven’t broken him and that he has come to terms. He said thankfully the offenses didn’t hurt anyone. Dianna Argon, who plays Quinn, explains what it’s like joining the Glee cast late.
Chris Colfer who plays Kurt, then brought things to an even more personal level when he talked about playing an openly gay character in relation to himself in real life. He admitted that in order to deliver his performances he channels some of his old personal grudges. He agrees that letting go for most is a good approach, but forgetting and forgiving is not for him. You take your grudges let them fester and then use them, he said.
Even Ryan Murphy, creator of “Glee” as well as “Nip/Tuck” mastermind, joined in. He explained what “Glee” is about. He told Rolling Stone that it was about the joy and great pain that was involved in being different. Ryan will be pleased to know that fans can’t wait for all of the pain and joy to keep coming their way.
